The challenge.
A global exhibition stand and event services provider came to us wanting its digital presence to win new business. The team were experts at building stands and delivering events worldwide, but the website worked like an online brochure. Visitors could browse, but there was little reason to get in touch.
What was holding it back.
- No clear next step: nothing encouraged visitors to share their details or start a conversation
- Hidden proof: a strong portfolio of past work was tucked away where few people saw it
- Hard to read: low contrast text and long, dense paragraphs were losing busy decision makers
- Paid ads not pulling their weight: Google Ads were generating visibility, but not consistently turning it into enquiries
Elevating the strategy.
Rather than just refreshing the website, we built a joined up system around one goal: more enquiries.
- Website: easier to use, more professional and more persuasive
- Organic social, email and search: consistent awareness and trust built over time
- Paid search: capturing people ready to buy and converting them more efficiently
- A full funnel approach: Meta Ads layered in to reach new audiences, with retargeting across Google and Meta to bring warm prospects back when they are ready to enquire
A website that sells the work.
- Clear from the first second: a redesigned homepage header and bigger, clearer contact buttons
- Instant credibility: a gallery of past projects moved onto the homepage
- Showing, not telling: custom icons and visuals replaced long explanations of how an exhibition is delivered, so the service is clear at a glance
- Accessible and readable: bolder font colours across every page, plus alt text on images for search engines and screen readers
- Easier enquiries: contact forms rebuilt as short, step by step journeys that feel more like starting a chat than filling in a form
Paid search results.
- Conversions up 186%, to 775
- Clicks up 197%, to 5,892
- Interactions up 470%, to 11,292
- Impressions up 34.9%, to 291,422
- Cost per conversion down 13%, from £39.06 to £34.00
All on a similar overall spend. The growth came from efficiency, not a bigger budget.
Organic growth.
In the first three months we achieved:
- LinkedIn followers up 16.5%
- Instagram followers up 5.9%
- Facebook followers up 2.4%
- 1,018 organic search clicks from 474,110 impressions
- Strong branded search, with high click through rates and top of page positions when prospects look for the business by name
- Organic traffic spread across several content pages, not just the homepage
We also set up a mailing list ready for a regular newsletter, and produced best practice guides that build authority and can be reused across search, social and email.
Full funnel launch.
Meta Ads went live on 1 February 2026. In the first 18 days they delivered high volumes of link clicks at a low cost per result, building warm audiences for retargeting.
What it means.
The business now has Google capturing people actively searching, Meta reaching buyers before they start looking, and retargeting on both platforms bringing prospects back. The website has gone from a quiet brochure to a platform that is found, trusted and built to turn visitors into serious leads.
