The challenge.
A padel court design and installation company came to us in January 2026 wanting to establish itself in the fast growing UK padel market. The business sells high value court builds to venue owners, sports clubs and property developers, so every enquiry matters. But it had no social presence, no reliable tracking, and no clear picture of which marketing was working.
Month one: foundations first.
We spent January reviewing everything and putting the groundwork in place before spending a pound on growth.
- Full review: website, search visibility, existing ad activity and the competitive landscape
- Tracking set up properly: GA4, Google Search Console, lead and form tracking, and live reporting across every channel, so the business could see exactly where enquiries came from
- New social channels launched: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, built from scratch with a consistent brand and content plan
Elevating the strategy.
With measurement in place, we built a joined up plan around the people who actually buy padel courts.
- Search content with commercial intent: in depth guides on court construction, foundations, design, running costs and leasing, written to answer the questions buyers ask before they pick up the phone
- Smarter paid search: Google Ads rebuilt to buy more traffic for the same money
- Targeted paid social: Meta campaigns aimed at property developers, lookalike audiences, golf clubs, hotels and high net worth padel players, with retargeting to bring warm prospects back
- Video first social content: Reels and project showcases that show the courts in action and build credibility with venue owners
Paid search.
January to August 2026, compared with the previous period.
- Clicks up 244%, to 12,289
- Average cost per click down 71%, to £0.22
- Total spend almost unchanged at £2.66k
More than three times the traffic for the same budget.
Paid social.
August 2026.
- 139,238 impressions and 4,891 clicks
- 3.51% click through rate, with retargeting reaching 5.56%
- Clicks up 19.1% while spend fell 7.9%, to £454.49
- Less than 10p per click
- The property developer audience alone delivered 1,706 clicks
Website and search.
- 4,135 new users since January
- 112,000 Google Search impressions since January, with 12,300 in August alone (up 22.3% on July)
- The court leasing page earned a 5.17% click through rate from search, one of the strongest commercial pages on the site
- New users up 44.6% in August, with engagement up 36.7%
Enquiries.
- The contact page became the second most viewed page on the site
- An average of 18 form submissions each month, every one of them now measurable
Social media, built from zero.
- Instagram grown to 219 followers, with 13,372 Reel views in August
- Reel interactions up 751.7% in August, with the best performing Reel reaching 2,556 people
- LinkedIn grown to over 940 followers, reaching the venue owners and developers who commission court builds
What it means.
Eight months in, the business has gone from no social presence and patchy data to a measured, full funnel system. Search content capturing people researching a build, Meta reaching developers and venue owners before they start looking, and retargeting bringing them back when they are ready to talk.
Next, we’ll keep expanding content around the topics that already perform (construction, foundations, leasing, finance and running costs), step up video across Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, and keep refining Meta audiences around the commercial buyers delivering the strongest results.
